Bluesun hotel Soline is four stars hotel, adored by foreign and domestic tourists which approves the special prize ITS Red Star Award, an award based on customer satisfaction. We want to see why is this hotel among the 100 most popular hotels of the world.

The hotel is surrounded by a green intact nature, while the attributes of main interior are an contemporary design and elegance. Hospitality of the staff, is intangible but very sensitive ingredient in creating of customer experiences. Immediately at first glance, our attention caught recognisable architecture of the hotel and its unique colour gravel. Hotel was designed by architect Julia Luca, back in 1960, in the spirit of brutal architecture. The hotel is labelled with the construction of reinforced concrete and glass walls which provides a comprehensive view of the blue sea, lush vegetation and the mountain slope.

As we enter into the hotel, we are greeted by friendly hotel staff that takes our luggage and gives us useful information about travel. We have to emphasize the design of info desk at the reception. At the bottom of the transparent stand are placed sea pebbles that connects the hotel with the sea. These small details are very important and the hotel guest can feel uniqueness in touch with the place and the hotel in which he came.

Rooms and suites

Bluesun hotel Soline has 202 rooms and 6 luxury suites. First impressions after entering into the room were very nice. There is a big dose of refinement and delicacy in interior space. The rooms are very nice and modern. Green and brown interior is comfortable and creates a sense of comfort and peace. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, free Internet, mini bar, bathroom, hair dryer and a balcony.

We particularly enjoyed in “transparent” balcony. Fantastic feeling of assimilation with the whole environment due to the glass wall that serves as a fence. Balcony becomes a zone of pleasure, an unobtrusive view provides with sights that are beautifully enchanting. Enjoying in a glass of wine, listening to the surrounding sounds and the sound of the waves.

Hotel restaurant

In the morning, with the sun’s rays, greenery that surrounds you, clear pool and the sound of waves outdoor breakfast becomes an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is located in the outer part of the hotel, near the coast, and during lunch or dinner, through the large glass walls that characterise the entire hotel, you can enjoy in the view. The food is rich and diverse, and every day, in addition to meat menu you have available various fresh fish. Fruit is fresh and seasonal and selection of desserts for every meal is plentiful. The wine list is carefully composed of local wines that are served by the glass, and the choice of bottled wines of winery Stina is a significantly advantage in the wine offering.

Hotel facilities

Play a game of mini golf at the golf simulator, located within the hotel is interesting spent time in the afternoon or evening. If you so far never played a golf this is a good place to start, and to get a feeling why the sport is so praised. Wellness centre occupies 1,500 m2 of indoor and outdoor space. This modern space perfectly blends into the interior and exterior of the hotel. Breathtaking view from the Finnish sauna, which is located in the outer part with a view of the blue sky and exit to the outdoor Jacuzzi.

We were especially impressed with the luxury ritual. This unique body treatment thoroughly restores the necessary energy of spirit and body. The treatment includes a body scrub with carob, sea salt and essential oils, and a moistures mask with orange and lavender and chocolate balm massage. After the massage, we went to the wellness centre where we rest. Privacy within the wellness gave us a sense of harmony and peace. All we needed at that moment!

Hotel surroundings

The beautiful pebble beach, within a few meters from the hotel, is gorgeous. Did you know that the Punta Rata beach is listed among the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world? Why? Because it is ideal both for the families and for the young guys. Above the beach we have sought protection from the sun in the shade of beautiful pine forests. While swimming in the clear green-blue sea on one side overlooks the beautiful Adriatic islands, and on the other side of the beautiful mountain.

If you want to enjoy in the city and in the typical summer murmur of foreign languages ​​from all around the world do not miss a historic city of Trogir , which is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic town.

In Makarska you definitely need to see the monument dedicated to the tourists. Its port, the only one located between the mouth of the river Cetina and Neretva is protected by the green peninsula of St. Peter and Osejava cape.

Do not miss the Vepric sanctuary. It is a place of peace and tranquillity, where people from around the world come to pray. You can clearly see where the almost extinguished wildfire devoured vegetation and a legend said when flames reach the edge of sanctuary fire went out by itself.

Trip to the mountain Biokovo is a special experience. In addition to nature, which is full of unique plants, hiking to the top is breathtaking. Panoramic view of the surroundings and the height at the same time is fascinating and enchanting.

We felt the greatest excitement at the raffling on the Cetina river. Scenes in a peaceful environment while paddling side by side with vigilant skipper leave a special feeling. In water it is possible to see water snakes, turtles, and “flying fairies” – large insects with bright green or blue wings.

The evening stroll on a wonderful walkway takes you across the entire Brela, along the sea and where you can enjoy in one of the most beautiful sunsets.

In the evening our attention occupy the first star in the sky that overshadows the coming of the moon and magical evening with a beautiful sky. Thrilling we waited a shooting star and preparing to sleep in the room with the scent of pine trees and overlooking the sea.
