Island Murter is liked by many humble guests – people who know how to recognize the jewel of the Adriatic.
It is the island whose residents welcome many celebrities who got fed up with media attention and who want to spend their holidays in the idyllic setting with their family or friends while enjoying the perfect taste of wines and dishes that are served only on their table.
On the island of Murter one of the best ranked locations is “Villa Renata” which, inside its walls, allows guests to have complete anonymity and to enjoy every intimate moment.
Accommodation and Decor
Villa Renata where we stayed answered many questions we asked and which are also asked by guests who want complete luxury, superior service at all times and at the end, the most desirable delicacies and wine from the region in which they are residing.
In extremely luxuriously furnished space in the lower floor of the villa through the large glass doors with wooden shutters, in the style of Tuscan luxury houses, we saw a terrace with furniture made of wrought iron with tables for 12 people, which altogether complements the look of the house, which is entirely built from stone. View from the house and from the terrace, which has underfloor heating, is completely breathtaking. Perfectly maintained garden with many different plants hypnotizes with its exotic scents, especially built gazebo lures with its open stokehole for the preparation of various local dishes, and you can pick almost all spices yourself. But what certainly delights every guest of this house is a large swimming pool with a separate Jacuzzi area and a waterfall that flows out of stone blocks piled in the style of the famous Trevi Fountain. Part of this luxury image consists of another small stone cottage by the pool, which in addition of serving as a good cold storage room in the hot summer days, has built in well-equipped musical mechanism which fills the entire outer space with music for moments of relaxation or a garden party at the pool.
After we refreshed ourselves with a glass of well-chilled champagne, which was offered to us by friendly hosts, we toured the lower floor which consists of a kitchen furnished in a rustic style, large living room and three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All rooms have movable nets installed to the windows to prevent insects from entering the house, wooden shutters for shading, and regarding technology we will mention that guests can use large plasma televisions in each room and a very modern stereo and fantastic sound system in the living room and on the terrace. All rooms, including a spacious living room, are equipped with high quality furniture, large double beds and decorations that contribute to complete aesthetic pleasure.
Apartments
This Villa can accommodate a family with several children because it has two completely separate apartments on the first floor, and can also be rented individually per floor in case of more guests are staying. Furthermore, from the front of a very large yard, in which two covered spaces for cars or boats are situated, the stairs climb up to a small terrace overlooking the sea which leads to two separate apartments. Both of them have two bedrooms. Each of them equally exudes a beautiful decor, but also has necessary equipment that every modern man is used to. Differently colored walls and interesting bed linen contribute to the feeling of comfort. Each apartment has a view of the pool and garden, which contributes to the full enjoyment of the holiday.
Environment
When you want to walk out of the Villa you will find a large decorated city beach and countless cafés and restaurants. Murter is known for providing services to modern guests who want to get a taste of the Mediterranean and other traditional tastes and smells, but cannot give up the high standards of their stay. Restaurants are provided with excellent wines and they pay great attention to the glasses that suit drinking of individual wine. These restaurant also provide beautifully prepared food and trained staff.
In the center we saw many souvenir shops that offer unique hand-made items, and the stores which offer less frequent types of cheese and special natural oils and wines.

> Restaurant Fabro – this restaurant is supplied by fishermen of Murter, and all other ingredients are taken exclusively from the local population. Bon appétit!

Highlights
> Due to its proximity Murter is an ideal place for many excursions into the wild. Only a few kilometers away are the fascinating islands of Kornati, Krka river with beautiful waterfalls and one of the cities of Dalmatia like the old town of Šibenik where you should definitely experience the history of the city.> We have already heard that many celebrities from Croatia and the world stayed here and that their number is increasing with every season which doesn`t make us surprised after our stay on this beautiful island.
