The first thing that comes to one’s mind, when he thinks about the island of Brač and the small town of Bol, is Zlatni Rat beach.
After our visit to the Bol, we can conclude that Zlatni Rat is not the only star of that idyllic place, but also it is a beautiful Grand Hotel Elaphusa. Exclusive Hotel Grand Elaphusa is four-star hotel and we can affirm, it is one of the finest hotels located in Bol, on the island of Brač. We say beautiful, but experts say the best.
The hotel is located in the beautiful countryside near the sea, it is surrounded by olive trees, pines and other various medicinal plants, which provides a sense of unspoiled nature. Carefully selected color façade makes the exterior warmer, and in the evening playful lighting and shadows from LED lamps distinguishes him from other hotels in the neighborhood. You can see that the interior designer has paid close attention to the details with a selection of the best quality stone combined with luxurious furnishings. During our stay in the hotel, we enjoyed in the specialities of local Dalmatian cuisine, that is prepared by a fantastic hotel chefs. Varied breakfast and rich selection of food can prepare us well for daily activities. Lunch and dinner gives you an opportunity to familiarize yourself with gastronomic and wine offering of the island of Brač. Every time, in the restaurant, we were served with love and care, and it is interesting that the smiling staff are open and talkative but extremely discreet. You can feel really comfortable in a very short time period.
If you want to give your palate a taste of traditional cuisine flavors, visit the restaurant “Tavern Vallum”. It will enchant you with its mythical atmosphere, carefully designed interior and you will have feeling like you’re on Mount Olympus. Everything is focused on customer and delights for all senses. From delicious fresh delicacies, perfectly selected wines to the ambient music. While you enjoy the food, you can recognize different ancient legends on the wall’s, and you can surprise your guests and friends with the choice of restaurant. They will want to come back.
Hotel facilities
Hotel Elaphusa has a luxurious outdoor pool at which you can enjoy in the sun, with a direct view on the sea.
When evening comes you can find refreshments within a bar, have fun in the excellent hotel’s bowling alley or dance in a nightclub Ella. If you have children four to eight years old, you can allow them to enjoy in the mini club where they will be greeted by the animators who are ready for an unforgettable party.

Thalasso wellness
We can describe Thalasso wellness as “an authentic oasis of comfort”. Imagine a day which you spend walking through the green landscape and swimming in the crystal clear blue sea, and in the evening treat yourself in a Thalasso wellness center, where you will be able to enjoy in a massages and/or a fantastic spa treatments. Tempting, isn’t it? In the largest wellness center on the island of Brac, spa treatments and massages are based on seawater. We have first-hand experience of the Turkish, roman, infrared and bio saunas. Combined with the hydro-massage and a large whirlpool and relax zone, we felt the peace that we have been waiting for a long time. With a pleasant scent of essential oils, fresh fruit, herbal and fruit teas and the most important, felt of peace, our life energy and optimism came back.
Surroundings of the hotel
Just outside the hotel is a beach “Elaphus”, and only after few minutes of easy stroll you will reach the gorgeous pebble beach, the most photographed beach in Croatia, Zlatni Rat.

Beautiful seafront promenade will delight you with “live” stone sculpture exhibition. Be sure to visit the Dominican monastery with a church and gorgeous garden and also the Church of St. John and Theodore.
We can definitely recommend a tour through the center of Bol, tasting excellent Andabak wines in the first Dalmatian wine cooperative and a visit to the Branislav Deskovic gallery.
