LaKatWalk Christmas Desserts Recipe Book

I don’t know about you ladies but my boyfriend and I take Christmas home decoration very seriously, as well as Christmas presents & cooking! :) Last wee I tried out 10 fabulous Christmas desserts recipes and once I got my boyfriends ‘stamp of approval’ and confirmation they indeed taste fabulous I have put together a short downloadable recipe book for you to download for free!

Bellow is also my favorite Christmas drink recipe, this time without wine because I a pregnant and my ‘evil’ doctor doesn’t let me have any.

INGREDIENTS
3 quarts/2.8 L water
4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed
2 cinnamon sticks (3 inches)
2 cups sugar (or brown sugar)
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Orange slices to decorate & add aroma

DIRECTIONS
In a Dutch oven (or over the stove top covered), combine the water, cranberries and cinnamon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until berries pop, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat. Discard cinnamon sticks. Strain cranberry mixture through a cheesecloth-lined colander. Return to Dutch oven. Stir in the sugar, orange juice and lemon juice; heat through. Serve warm & enjoy!
